Here’s What Happens!

Plans are underway for the Wheat Ridge High School Post Prom Party… a PTSA sponsored event that provides a fun, safe place for our kids to go after Prom.  Prom is Friday, May 6, 2016, and Post Prom will start at 11:oo p.m.  The party ends at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016.  Post Prom is open to all juniors and seniors regardless of whether or not they attend Prom… and it is free!

Many of you have signed up to help with post prom on your PTSA membership registration form… you will be contacted soon.  We are looking for and need more parent volunteers……please read on!

We have set up the following committees… there’s something for everyone:

 1. Helping the night of –  from 11:30p.m. – 3:00 a.m. – we need parents to help with all of the different activities that will be going on that night (even if you can help for just a couple of hours).

 2. Prizes/fundraising –  this committee will work hard to get prizes donated which will be given to the kids that night and also help with fundraising activities to help pay for the prom!  If you do not have time to help on this committee, but are a WRHS parent who owns a business and is willing to donate services such as hair cuts, nails, massages, personal training, golf/tennis/music lessons, car work, etc. or are willing to donate concert or sporting event tickets (Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche), we would truly appreciate your donations.

3. Event Planning – this committee will be coordinating and planning events for that night.

4. Invitations – this committee will gather to work on invitations and also thank you notes.
